Now Bake This! Week 1

Happy Monday my sweet friends! I hope the weekend treated you well and Monday is kind to you. My weekend went by way too quickly, as it always does, and we were kept busy most of the time.

Of course, I wasn't too busy to bake a little something sweet for you all for our very first Now Bake This link up!

Since I was at my mom's for dinner last night, I decided to whip up some chocolate chip cookie dough brownies for her!

This recipe is stupid simple and I think anyone can make it. The first thing you'll need to do is mix up your favorite brownie recipe, either boxed or from scratch (here's a good recipe from scratch). Mix up your batter and pour it into a large 9x13 greased dish.

Please excuse my poorly lit iPad photos, I forgot my camera!

Once you've poured your batter into your dish, mix up your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough recipe. Again, either a prepackaged mix or a dough from scratch (a good from scratch recipe can be found here) would work fine for this recipe.

Take teaspoons of your cookie dough and dot it on top of your unbaked brownie batter.

And that's it! Bake in a 325 degree oven for approximately 40 minutes or until the cookie dough is slightly browned. I prefer mine a little doughy so I pulled them out just before they were done.

After the brownies come out of the oven, be sure to snag yourself a corner piece (the perfect combination of crunchy and gooey) before anyone else does. Grab your favorite ice cream (chocolate chip cookie dough, DUH) and have yourself a delicious bowl of, well, deliciousness.

Did you do a little baking this weekend?! Be sure to grab our button and link up below!!
